Singing and Piano
Ever wanted to learn how to sing or play the piano?
Well, it’s never too late. It has been proven that playing music and singing gives you confidence, lowers blood pressure and stress levels, releases ‘feel good’ endorphins and gives you the feeling that you have achieved something meaningful!
Eloise teaches students of all ages and musical ability. From beginners, young and old, to advanced professionals already established in their performance careers.
Eloise is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She is an accomplished opera singer, recitalist, session singer, voice over artist and a highly recommended singing and piano teacher.
For fifteen years Eloise has coached talented young performers in both classical and contemporary singing and piano. Students can choose to sing or play for their own enjoyment or be guided through their repertoire preparation for competitions or HSC & AMEB examinations.
Many of Eloise’s voice students in particular have auditioned successfully for the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Berklee College of Music USA, Newtown Performing Arts School, The Australian International Conservatorium of Music and Performing Arts High School, Sydney Children’s Choir, ‘The Voice’ and ‘X Factor’. Eloise’s singing students have also been prize winners in major singing competitions; and also perform in professional musical theatre productions including Billy Elliot, The Lion King and several seasons with Opera Australia’s productions of La Boheme, Turandot, The Magic Flute, Carmen and Billy Bud.
Eloise’s performance career has spanned across many years in a variety of productions in many places around the world. She spent several years appearing as a Guest Entertainer on prestigious cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Cunard, Princess and P&O; and has also performed in numerous Opera and Musical Theatre productions both in Australia and abroad.
During her studies at the start of her career Eloise competed successfully in many singing competitions and eisteddfodau. She was a semi finalist in the prestigious McDonald’s Aria Award and in 2006 Eloise was the recipient of the Australian Opera Auditions Committee’s ‘Sheila Prior Memorial Study Grant’ and the winner of the ‘Grace Johnston Operatic Aria Award’.
